The denomination '25 Cts.' is printed in large bold letterpress type at centre, with the issuing authority 'CONSEJO MUNICIPAL' above and place and date 'MONZÓN Agosto 1937.' to the right. Two manuscript signatures appear below, attributed to El Presidente and El Interventor, with the legal tender clause printed in smaller text beneath the coat of arms at lower left.
