背面描述	Bare-headed bust of President Jean-Pierre Boyer facing left, with naturalistically rendered curly hair and a plain truncation, occupying the greater part of the field. The circular legend J.P. BOYER PRESIDENT runs along the upper and lateral periphery in Latin letters, flanked by small five-pointed stars. The date AN 25, referring to Year 25 of Haitian independence (1828), is inscribed in the lower exergual area. The design is enclosed within a beaded border consistent with that of the obverse.
