Popis líce	Black intaglio on orange guilloche underprint. An oval vignette at right contains a bust portrait of Liberty facing three-quarters left, wearing a laureled headdress and ornate dress. The bank title appears in large lettering across the upper portion, with the numeral 25 rendered in ornate script at center, flanked by denomination counters in the lower corners. Two manuscript signatures appear above the legal tender text, with the printer's imprint at the base.

The Nicaraguan Coat of Arms occupies the center, rendered as an equilateral triangle enclosing five volcanic peaks rising from the sea beneath a radiant eye, encircled by a rainbow arc. Denomination numerals 25 appear in large counters to the left and right of the central vignette, with the bank title arching across the top and the denomination in full across the lower portion.
