Flanking the base of the cactus are laurel and oak branches, rendered in a rough, primitive engraving style characteristic of provisional revolutionary-era coinage. The surrounding field shows the characteristic dimpled, uneven surface typical of hand-fabricated planchets. The legend ESTADO DE MEXICO AMECAMECA encircles the design. | Beschrijving keerzijde | The large numeral '25' dominates the central field in bold, hand-cut relief, serving as the primary denomination indicator.
