| Reverse description | Rectangular proof-finish field featuring a large cross motif with highly polished mirror fields set against a frosted background. At the centre of the composition, a relief outline map of Poland is prominently displayed, encircled by a rosary with a crucifix pendant hanging below. The skyline silhouettes of two Gothic cathedrals flank the central map, rendered in frosted relief against the polished field. To the lower left, a draped elderly ecclesiastical figure in a mitre and vestments is depicted in three-quarter bust, facing right, in contemplative pose; a corresponding draped papal figure in zucchetto and vestments appears in the lower right, facing left in a mirror composition. The overall design commemorates Poland's millennium of Christianity and the nation's deep religious heritage. |

The "Triptych of Freedom" belongs to a wave of high-denomination, large-format silver issues produced for Cameroon by European minting houses — primarily for the collector market, not domestic circulation. Cameroon's CFA franc is pegged to the euro through the Bank of Central African States, meaning Cameroon has no independent monetary policy and effectively outsources it to France. That arrangement makes a 25,000-franc face value purely nominal; the silver content alone far exceeds it.
KM# 204 is one of three interlocking panels designed to be displayed together. Separating the set breaks both the visual composition and, for completeness-minded collectors, the catalog logic entirely.
