Reverse description The imperial double-headed eagle displayed, crowned with a single crown above each head and a central imperial crown, bears an elaborate composite heraldic shield on its breast depicting the arms of the Habsburg territories. The date 1623 is divided in the field to either side of the upper crown. The surrounding Latin legend ARCHID AVS DVX BVR MA M 1623 records Ferdinand II's titles as Archduke of Austria and Duke of Burgundy. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the legend occupying the outer margin.
