| Opis awersu | Draped and veiled head of Demeter facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic style with detailed veil folds cascading over the hair and nape. The facial features are finely modelled with a straight nose and slightly parted lips. The veil is drawn tightly over the crown and falls in deep, naturalistic striations across the neck.
