Below the perch, a stylized columnar support descends toward the lower field, where the denomination 2 1/2 DOL· is inscribed in two elements flanking the column base. The peripheral legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA curves along the upper rim, completing the design in a restrained and classically inspired composition. |
