正面描述	At centre, a sculpted protea flower bud with two flanking leaves rises from a short stem, rendered in high relief against a polished dark field. The engraver's initials 'KG' appear incuse beneath the flower. The legend 'SOUTH AFRICA' curves along the upper periphery in raised Latin capitals, bordered by a beaded inner rim. The date '2008' is positioned in the lower field, flanked by two small decorative floral ornaments. The design was originally created by George Kruger Gray and is characteristic of the classic South African decimal series.
