| Obverse description | The obverse features the crowned Polish eagle of the Polish People's Republic, rendered with outstretched wings and detailed feather work, displayed against a plain field. The eagle faces dexter and is executed in a bold, sculptural style characteristic of the period. The circular legend reads POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA, separated by raised dots, arcing around the upper periphery.
