| Obverse description | Four large seal-script Chinese characters arranged in cruciform reading clockwise around the central square perforation, reading 大泉二千 (Da Quan Er Qian, meaning 'Large coin [worth] two thousand'). The characters are cast in relief within the field, separated by the square hole at center. The coin displays a broad, flat rim with a pronounced inner rim surrounding the square perforation. The surface shows the characteristic green patination consistent with ancient bronze cash coinage of the Three Kingdoms period. |
