| 正面描述 | The obverse is dominated by a vignette of the Russkiy Bridge spanning the Eastern Bosphorus Strait at Vladivostok, rendered in blue-green tones against a guilloche underprint. The face value numeral '2000' is printed in large intaglio characters at the lower right, accompanied by the principal legend across the upper field. |

| 备注 |
The 2017 2000 Roubles note was introduced as part of a two-denomination expansion — alongside the 200 Rouble note — the first new denominations added to Russian circulation since 2006. Both were selected through a public vote that attracted over 5 million participants, with the Far East theme winning out over several competing regional proposals. The decision to anchor a high-value denomination to Vladivostok and Roscosmos's Vostochny Cosmodrome was a deliberate geopolitical statement about eastward development priorities.
Goznak has printed Russian state paper since 1818; the Moscow facility handles the bulk of high-security banknote production.
