| 裏面の説明 | A large inlaid jade bi-disc ring occupies the central field, upon which Chinese characters reading 猪年招财进宝 (meaning 'May the Year of the Pig bring wealth and treasure') are inscribed in gilt script arranged in a circular fashion. At the centre of the jade ring, a gilt effigy of a standing pig is depicted in high relief against a polished field. Above the jade disc, the Chinese cyclical year characters 己亥 appear in gilt. The surrounding silver border is decorated with multiple small engraved vignettes of pigs and floral motifs. The Latin legend THE YEAR OF THE PIG is inscribed below the jade inset, with the date 2019 in the lower exergue. |
