The deity is shown in a fearsome aspect, holding a skull cup (kapala) and a flaming rod or club, with multiple arms extending outward in a dynamic composition. Two fantastic mythological creatures, likely makara or leonine beings, are positioned symmetrically in the upper left and upper right fields, flanking the deity.
