The saint is clad in a flowing episcopal cope rendered with fine drapery detail. The legend SZENT MÁRTON curves along the upper left periphery and SAVARIA along the lower periphery, with A. D. 316 inscribed along the right border, commemorating the saint's birth year in Savaria. A small mint engraver's mark appears in the lower right field. |
