表面の説明	The Polish state eagle — the crowned white eagle of the People's Republic of Poland — is depicted in high relief at the centre of the field, facing right with wings spread, rendered in a stylised socialist heraldic manner without a crown. The date of issue, 1980, is split to either side of the eagle's talons, with '19' to the left and '80' to the right. The denomination '200' appears prominently in large numerals at the bottom of the field, flanked on each side by the currency abbreviation 'ZŁ'. The circular legend 'POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA' runs along the upper periphery in Latin script.

裏面の説明	The central field features a dynamic relief of a ski jumper in full flight, depicted in a horizontal aerodynamic tuck position with skis parallel and body outstretched, conveying great speed and athleticism. To the upper right of the jumper, the official emblem of the 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympics — comprising the five Olympic rings above a stylised snowflake or chevron device — is rendered in crisp relief. Below the skier, at the lower centre of the field, an Olympic torch with a flaming bowl is depicted as a secondary design element. The circular legend 'XIII ZIMOWE IGRZYSKA OLIMPIJSKIE 1980' runs along the upper periphery, while '• LAKE PLACID N.Y.' appears along the lower periphery, all in Latin script.
