| 裏面の説明 | At right, a portrait of Raqymjan Qoshqarbaev in military uniform of the Great Patriotic War period occupies a prominent position; he was the first soldier to raise the Soviet flag over the Reichstag on April 30, 1945. To the left of the portrait, the badge of HALYQ QAHARMANY (National Hero of Kazakhstan), awarded to him posthumously in 1999, is depicted. The inscription REIHSTAGQA TÝ TIKKEN (Raised a flag at the Reichstag) appears to the left. In the lower portion of the coin, a stylized battle scene at the Reichstag is rendered, accompanied by the inscriptions HALYQ QAHARMANY, 100 JYL, and RAQYMJAN QOSHQARBAEV, with his years of life 1924–1988 at the very bottom.
