Descrizione del dritto	The Somali national coat of arms is rendered in high relief at centre, depicting a quartered shield bearing horizontal stripes and a central five-pointed star, surmounted by a mural crown and supported by two leopards rampant. The legend SOMALI REPUBLIC arcs along the upper periphery within a beaded border, while the date 20 22 flanks the shield on either side. The denomination 200 SHILLINGS appears in the lower field below the supporters, completing the design.

Descrizione del rovescio	A large female African elephant and her young calf are depicted in finely engraved detail, both walking to the left across a savanna landscape rendered with grasses in the lower field. A full moon is visible in the upper field behind the elephant, and a small flock of birds in flight appears to the right of the mother's hindquarters. The design is set within a recessed inner circle, with the legend AFRICAN WILDLIFE arcing along the upper border and ELEPHANT appearing at the lower left, flanked by raised dots. The silver specification 2 oz Ag 999.9 is inscribed along the lower right of the outer border.
