| Obverse description | The Somali national coat of arms is rendered in high relief at centre, depicting a quartered shield bearing horizontal stripes and a central five-pointed star, surmounted by a mural crown and supported by two leopards rampant. The legend SOMALI REPUBLIC arcs along the upper periphery within a beaded border, while the date 20 22 flanks the shield on either side. The denomination 200 SHILLINGS appears in the lower field below the supporters, completing the design. |
