| 背面描述 | Central motif depicts a stylized celestial dog rendered in intricate swirling scroll-work, executed in a traditional Bhutanese decorative manner, enclosed within an ornate cartouche of curling cloud and scroll elements. The denomination Nu. 200 appears in a decorative banner at the base of the design, with the specification 1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER inscribed beneath. The legend 2018 YEAR OF THE DOG curves along the upper periphery in Latin letters. |

Bhutan's lunar series issues are produced under license through external minting arrangements — this piece was almost certainly struck by a European or Australian private mint rather than domestically, as Bhutan has no meaningful coin production infrastructure of its own. The Royal Monetary Authority has used these collector issues since the 1970s primarily as a foreign exchange mechanism, with the ngultrum itself remaining pegged to the Indian rupee and the coins holding no practical circulation role.
