Reverse description The Haitian Coat of Arms occupies the upper central field, depicting a royal palm tree flanked by two cannons on wheeled carriages, with an array of rifles, spears, anchors, and flags arranged symmetrically on either side. A ribbon scroll beneath the arms bears the motto L'UNION FAIT LA FORCE. The gold fineness mark 900 appears in a cartouche at the lower left, and the mint mark IC is positioned at the lower right. The denomination 200 GOURDES is inscribed in large characters across the lower field, with the date below, all within a beaded inner rim. The field is mirror-polished in proof quality.
