| Reverse description | The reverse, also in the form of the Hamsa, features an elaborate engraved arabesque and foliate design covering the lower field, with stylised tulip and acanthus motifs in frosted relief. At the upper centre, a large circular blue glass evil-eye insert (nazar) is set into the field, depicting concentric rings of deep blue, white, light blue, and black, evoking the traditional Turkish and North African talisman. A small six-petalled floral ornament appears near the base of the design. A border of raised beads encircles the inner field, and a suspension loop is present at the top. |
