| 裏面の説明 | A finely modelled left-facing bust of the Greek author Penelope Delta (1874–1941) occupies the majority of the reverse field, rendered in high relief with her hair worn up in a characteristic late-19th-century style and a pearl necklace at her neck. The engraver's initials appear at the lower left of the bust. The circular legend along the upper periphery reads 150 ΧΡΟΝΙΑ ΑΠΟ ΤΗ ΓΕΝΝΗΣΗ ΤΗΣ ΠΗΝΕΛΟΠΗΣ ΔΕΛΤΑ, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the author's birth. The date 2024, preceded by a mint flower ornament, is inscribed to the right of the portrait in the field. |
