Obverse description The Hellenic coat of arms — a white cross on a blue shield encircled by a laurel wreath — is centrally displayed in the field, surrounded by the titles of six major literary works by Penelope Delta rendered in their original stylised Greek script, arranged dynamically around the central device. The works named are: Τον Καιρό του Βουλγαροκτόνου, Μάγκας, Για την Πατρίδα, Στα Μυστικά του Βάλτου, Παραμύθι Χωρίς Όνομα, and Τρελαντώνης. The denomination 200 ΕΥΡΩ appears in the lower exergue in Latin numerals and Greek script.

Reverse description A finely modelled left-facing bust of the Greek author Penelope Delta (1874–1941) occupies the majority of the reverse field, rendered in high relief with her hair worn up in a characteristic late-19th-century style and a pearl necklace at her neck. The engraver's initials appear at the lower left of the bust. The circular legend along the upper periphery reads 150 ΧΡΟΝΙΑ ΑΠΟ ΤΗ ΓΕΝΝΗΣΗ ΤΗΣ ΠΗΝΕΛΟΠΗΣ ΔΕΛΤΑ, commemorating the 150th anniversary of the author's birth. The date 2024, preceded by a mint flower ornament, is inscribed to the right of the portrait in the field.
