Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Charles III, as engraved by Dan Thorne, occupies the central field, set against a radially engraved sunburst pattern of fine lines and arched segments that fills the inner disc. The portrait is rendered in high relief with precise facial and sartorial detail. The circumferential legend reads 'CHARLES III' to the upper left and 'AUSTRALIA' to the upper right, with the denomination '200 DOLLARS' inscribed along the lower arc, all separated by raised dot stops. The engraver's initials 'DT' appear discreetly in the lower right field near the portrait truncation.
