Reverse description The reverse features a central mother-of-pearl inlay shaped in the silhouette of the Australian continent, set within a recessed circular well against a darkened field, creating a striking iridescent focal point. Surrounding this central insert, an elaborate high-relief border depicts an array of Australian marine and coastal wildlife, including a great white shark, a sea turtle, a seahorse, an octopus, tropical fish, a starfish, coral formations, and a kangaroo partially visible at the lower left, all rendered in fine sculptural detail. The inscriptions '2024 2oz 9999 GOLD' appear along the upper left arc, the Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark and the edition designation 'P125' are placed in the upper right field, and the engraver's initials 'AH' are inscribed at the lower centre of the border design.
