备注	The Farmers Bank of Chung-Chou was a provincial institution operating in Henan, a region that changed hands repeatedly during the final phase of the Chinese Civil War. By 1948, Nationalist financial authority in the province was disintegrating rapidly — the Communist People's Liberation Army took Kaifeng, the provincial capital, in June of that year and held it within weeks. Notes issued in this period often circulated for only months before the issuing authority ceased to function altogether. The S3000 series from this bank is catalogued under provincial and commercial issues precisely because Chung-Chou operated outside the central Nationalist banking structure. Redemption was never meaningfully organized.
