Obverse description At right, a vignette of the Choto Shona Mosque (Small Golden Mosque), a Mughal-period structure located in Chapai Nawabganj district, rendered in intaglio. The mosque, situated approximately 3 kilometres south of the Kotwali Gate in the Firozpur Quarter, is presented against a guilloche underprint. Bilingual inscriptions in Bengali and English identify the issuing authority and denomination.
