正面描述	Central vignette presents an intaglio view of the facade of the Compañía de Jesús church in Quito, with a stone cross in the foreground, framed by an arched border. Two large guilloche rosettes at left and right each bear the numeral 20 with the legend VEINTE SUCRES, printed in dark ink against a fine multicolour underprint. The issuer's title BANCO CENTRAL DEL ECUADOR / SOCIEDAD ANONIMA runs across the top, with the place and date of issue, series letters, and three signature lines for Gerente General, Superintendente de Bancos, and Vocal printed in the lower portion.

背面描述	Printed in golden-brown on a light ground, the reverse centres on a finely engraved vignette of the Ecuadorian national coat of arms — an oval shield enclosing Mount Chimborazo and a steamship on a river, surmounted by a condor with spread wings, flanked by palm and laurel branches and supported by a fasces at the base. The bank name BANCO CENTRAL DEL ECUADOR appears on a scroll banner at the top, while the denomination VEINTE SUCRES is inscribed along the lower edge, flanked by guilloche rosettes bearing the numeral 20 at each corner.
