| 背面描述 | A crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed with wings spread, each head facing outward, surmounted by a single imperial crown. An escutcheon on the eagle's breast bears a cross, symbolising the Gonzaga arms of Mantua. The date is divided and appears in the lower field to either side of the eagle's tail, with the Latin legend distributed around the periphery separated by dot stops. |

Mantua passed to Habsburg control in 1707 following the War of the Spanish Succession, and by the 1750s the duchy's coinage had been thoroughly absorbed into Maria Theresia's centralizing monetary reforms — though Mantua retained nominal issuing authority as a courtesy to regional administration rather than any genuine fiscal autonomy. Billon coinage of this type circulated alongside Austrian issues across Lombardy, frequently at discounted rates set by local merchants suspicious of the alloy.
The MIR and KM reference conflicts reflect genuine cataloging disagreement over die variants within the 1755–1757 window.
