Reverse description The Roman numeral face value XX is displayed prominently in the center of the field, with three small fleurs-de-lis or pellets interspersed between and around the numerals. A royal crown surmounts the entire device. The date appears in the exergue below the face value, and the composition is enclosed within a circle of pearls. The encircling legend attributes the coin to João V, King of Portugal and Brazil.
