| Obverse description | Central field bears the tughra or calligraphic legend of Sultan Hussein Kamil in ornate Arabic script, occupying the upper portion of the coin. The accession date in Arabic numerals (١٣٣٣, corresponding to 1333 AH) appears within the legend. A fine beaded inner border encircles the field, with a plain outer rim. All obverse dies for this type bear the accession date digits ١٣٣٣ regardless of the year of issue. |
