| Obverse description | The obverse features the ornate imperial Tughra of Sultan Mahmud II prominently displayed in the center of the field, rendered in fine calligraphic relief with the characteristic interlaced loops, vertical shafts (elif), and sweeping horizontal flourishes (tuğ). The denomination numeral '20' in Eastern Arabic script appears in the lower field beneath the Tughra. The coin is struck on a flan with a reeded border visible at the rim, and the polished gold surface enhances the intricate detail of the monogram. |
