| Obverse description | Central field dominated by an elaborate tughra-style calligraphic monogram of Muhammad Nadir Shah rendered in flowing Arabic script, enclosed within a circular border. The regnal year ١٣٤٨ (1348 AH) appears in Eastern Arabic numerals at the base of the central device. A legend in Arabic script arcs along the upper periphery, while the entire central composition is framed by outward-sweeping foliate or wheat-ear branches forming a wreath that extends around the lower half of the coin. |
