备注

The three signature combinations on this issue track a specific institutional transition: Joseph Brennan's departure as Governor in 1953, with James McElligott stepping up from Secretary to Governor, and T.K. Whitaker — barely two years into his role as Secretary of the Department of Finance — appearing on the final 1957 date before the series was retired. Whitaker's presence here predates by only months the publication of his landmark 1958 economic development report, which dismantled the protectionist policies that had shaped the very monetary environment this note circulated in.

Waterlow & Sons held the Central Bank contract through this entire run, printing from London under arrangements inherited from the earlier Currency Commission series.
