The bilingual bank title appears across the top within a Celtic knotwork border, with denomination numerals "20" at each corner and vertical bilingual inscriptions along the side margins. Two manuscript facsimile signatures — those of the Governor and the Secretary of the Department of Finance — are printed centrally, with a £20 guilloché roundel to the right, and the serial number and date appear twice on the face. |
