| Obverse description | Intaglio portrait of Manuel L. Quezon in three-quarter view occupies the left portion of the note against an intricate guilloche underprint in red and green. The diagonal overprint "ANG BAGONG LIPUNAN" runs across the centre, flanked at lower right by the circular Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas seal dated 1949.
