正面描述	Printed in shades of blue on pale paper, the obverse is dominated by an elaborate guilloche underprint of interlocking geometric and lozenge patterns across the entire field. A central oval cartouche, framed by scalloped guilloche borders and a dotted inner ring, carries the text 'GUTSCHEIN über' above the large white-on-dark denomination panel reading '20 Pfennig', with the validity date 'Gültig bis 1. März 1921' below. Diagonal ribbon banners in the upper corners bear the legend 'Wegen Kleingeldmangel', while the issuer's name and address appear in Gothic script along the lower margin; the printer's imprint 'Coutinho & Meyer, Hamburg 19' is set in the lower right corner.
