| Obverse description | Printed in shades of blue on pale paper, the obverse is dominated by an elaborate guilloche underprint of interlocking geometric and lozenge patterns across the entire field. A central oval cartouche, framed by scalloped guilloche borders and a dotted inner ring, carries the text 'GUTSCHEIN über' above the large white-on-dark denomination panel reading '20 Pfennig', with the validity date 'Gültig bis 1. März 1921' below.
