An oval portrait vignette of a male figure appears at the lower left, while a steamship vignette occupies the lower right; the denomination 'CINCUENTA PESOS' is inscribed in large serif letterpress at the left, with serial number, date authorization text, and manuscript signatures of the Tesorero and Presidente at right.
