Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse bears the issuer's name 'AGUAN NAVIGATION AND IMPROVEMENT COMPANY' across the top, with a central allegorical vignette of three classical figures — a standing female figure with scales and cross flanked by two seated figures — executed in fine intaglio engraving. An oval portrait vignette of a male figure appears at the lower left, while a steamship vignette occupies the lower right; the denomination 'CINCUENTA PESOS' is inscribed in large serif letterpress at the left, with serial number, date authorization text, and manuscript signatures of the Tesorero and Presidente at right.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse is printed in green and displays the issuer's name 'AGUAN NAVIGATION AND IMPROVEMENT COMPANY Co.' within an ornate guilloche border at the top centre, with the denominal numerals '50' repeated in each corner. The overprinted legends 'UNITED STATES' and 'REPÚBLICA DE HONDURAS' appear prominently across the centre field within interlocking guilloche panels, and a bilingual redemption text in Spanish occupies the lower central panel.
