Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of Liberty in left-facing profile, her flowing hair tied with a ribbon at the nape and inscribed with the word LIBERTAD across the locks. The peripheral legend CONFEDERACION GRANADINA arcs around the upper field, while the date 1859 appears in the lower exergual area. A fine toothed border frames the entire design.
