| Descrizione del dritto | Central field dominated by the elaborate calligraphic tughra of Ottoman Sultan Selim III, rendered in the characteristic Ottoman imperial monogram style with upward-sweeping looped strokes (beyze) and horizontal extensions (havaleler). The tughra is struck in relatively high relief against a plain field. A circular legend in Arabic script surrounds the central device, enclosed within a plain linear border with a beaded outer rim. The overall design follows the standard Ottoman tughra coinage convention of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse bears multi-line Arabic inscriptions in the central field recording the mint name and date of issue, divided across several lines in the traditional Ottoman manner. The regnal year (Year 13 or 14) appears prominently alongside the Hijri accession year 1203, with the mint epithet indicating striking at Misr (Egypt). The legends are enclosed within a plain inner border and a prominent beaded outer rim consistent with the obverse, giving the coin a uniform decorative frame on both sides. |
