Constantine in Numidia was a short-lived Byzantine mint, active only during the 540s as Justinian's forces consolidated control over former Vandal North Africa. The mint's output was administratively tied to the reconquest rather than to any stable provincial monetary infrastructure, which explains both its brief operation and the relative scarcity of its issues. Die links between Numidian and Carthage mint products suggest shared or itinerant engravers working across the newly recovered territories.
