| Obverse description | Printed in dark brown on an orange-tan paper ground, the obverse is framed by a fine geometric guilloche border with repeating floral corner ornaments. The denomination "20 - Zwanzig Mark - 20" is set in large Gothic blackletter type at centre, flanked by the numeral 20 on each side, with the issuing authority "Kriegsgeldschein des Kreises Schlochau" in bold script above and the date "Schlochau, den 14. November 1918" below. A circular official district seal is impressed at centre, accompanied by a row of seven manuscript signatures of the Kreisausschuss members, with the redemption and validity conditions printed in Gothic text at the foot of the note. |

Für die Einlösung dieses Kriegsgeldscheines haftet der Kreis Schlochau. Er wird ungültig, wenn er nicht innerhalb zweier Monate nach öffentlichem Aufruf im Kreisblatt bei der Kreisbank in Schlochau eingelöst wird. Der Aufruf zum Umtausch kann vom 1. Februar 1919 ab erfolgen.
