The issuer's name 'Stadtgemeinde Augsburg' is set in bold Gothic (Fraktur) lettering across the upper register, flanked by the numeral '20' at each corner, with a two-line validity clause in smaller script below. The denomination 'Gutschein über Zwanzig Mark' is rendered in ornate calligraphic Fraktur at centre, supported by scrollwork vignettes and a central underprint motif; the date 'Augsburg, am 15. Oktober 1918', a manuscript signature above the title 'Oberbürgermeister', a red serial number, and the printer's imprint appear in the lower portion. |
