| Obverse description | Printed in brown and salmon tones on plain paper, the note is framed by a decorative border of geometric guilloche elements with diamond and dash motifs. The issuer's name 'Stadtgemeinde Augsburg' is set in bold Gothic (Fraktur) lettering across the upper register, flanked by the numeral '20' at each corner, with a two-line validity clause in smaller script below. The denomination 'Gutschein über Zwanzig Mark' is rendered in ornate calligraphic Fraktur at centre, supported by scrollwork vignettes and a central underprint motif; the date 'Augsburg, am 15.
