An eagle surmounts the apex of the arch. The denomination £M 20 flanks the fountain centrally, with the word SPECIMEN inscribed to the right of the numeral. The Maltese legend IL-FUNTANA TAD-DELFINI curves along the upper periphery, and the date 1973 appears in the lower exergue. |
