The inscription ITALIA appears prominently in the upper field, flanked by A.V to the left and 1927 / R to the right, with PROVA DI STAMPA inscribed vertically at the upper right. The denomination L. 20 is inscribed along the lower field, with the engravers' signatures G. ROMAGNOLI / A. MOTTI INC. appearing in small letters above the denomination.
