| Beschrijving keerzijde | A detailed architectural view of the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque (Ayasofya-i Kebir Cami-i Şerifi) dominates the central field, depicted with its characteristic central dome, semi-domes, buttresses, and four minarets rising at the corners, against a lightly rendered sky with stylised clouds. Above the mosque, two lines of Ottoman calligraphic Arabic script are displayed in the upper field. The circular legend in Latin script reads 'DİYANET İŞLERİ BAŞKANLIĞI'NIN YÜZÜNCÜ YILI' to the left and the centenary dates '1924–2024' to the right, separated by ornamental stops. The composition commemorates the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Directorate of Religious Affairs. The engraving is rendered in fine relief with strong architectural detail. |
